On Nov. 18, 2022 China Intelligent Connected Car Data and Privacy Security Skills Competition was successfully held. With the theme of Digital Intelligence Empowerment and Safety First, the competition is hosted by the Organizing Committee of China International Digital Economy Expo, and organized by China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, and China Automotive Technology Institute Co., Ltd.

A total of 12 teams participated in the final of the competition, which was divided into three sub-projects: security vulnerability exploring competition, OTA special challenge, and data and privacy security challenge. The competition selects 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 4 winning prizes.

Wang Yongjian, the chief executive judge of the event and the deputy director of the Beijing Engineering Laboratory of Internet of Vehicles Security Simulation and Attack and Defense Technology of the National Internet Emergency Center, introduced that the level of the competition team is relatively high, which can be said to represent the domestic first-class Internet of Vehicles security attack and defense team to participate in the competition. In addition, apart from the daily evaluation rules, the match referee team also considered the difficulty of the entire competition’s security vulnerability exploring, vulnerability analysis and discovery, and comprehensively evaluated the game results.
